A downloadable game for Windows

Meyer is a dice game similar to blackjack but with lying! GMTK Jam 2022 - The game is currently in development

Objectives of the game
Meyer is a classic dice game where the objective of the game is to get a better outcome than your opponent. If you can't roll a better outcome, you can always try and bluff your way to a win.

Possible Dice Outcomes
The dice results are combined into outcomes eg. if you roll a 4 and a 5 the outcome will be 54. The table on the left side of the screen shows the possible outcomes. The highest outcomes are Little Meyer (1 and 3) and Meyer (1 and 2).

Play By Play example:

  1. On the first turn I roll a 2 and a 3  - the outcome  is 32 (The lowest outcome) - we still have rolls left, let's see if we can do better.
  2. I roll again and get a 1 and a 1 - that's a Pair of 1's that's pretty good let's pass by pressing the Call button.
  3. The CPU rolls a Pair of 2's that's pobably true - I believe the CPU and roll again.
  4. I roll a  6 and a 1, that's not enough, I roll again and I got a 4 and a 1 - I am out of rolls and i have not beaten the CPU's roll, time to bluff.
  5. I select Pair of 2's from the list of outcomes and press Use Bluff - you can now see the number in the center has changed to the bluff I selected. I press Call to confirm and pass to the CPU.
  6. The CPU trusts that I am not a liar and rolls a 1 and a 2 - That's Meyer!
  7. I trust my gut and Call Bluff before I roll - The CPU did  roll the Meyer and that means the CPU gets a point. If the CPU had bluffed P1 would get the point.
  8. The rounds restarts and that's how you play Meyer

An additional Play By Play example has been added to the screenshots. Hopefully this will help new players understand the game more easily.
